Linda Darlene Dovell, 58, of Marysville, passed away Tuesday, July 24, 2012 in Chico. She enjoyed hot sunny days with a cold Pepsi in her hand. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great nephews. She always had fun whether it was riding horses, snow mobiles, sand rails or jet skis. Like her Mom, she always had her bags packed, ready to go on any trip. From Hawaii to Wyoming, she looked forward to spending time with family. Not too many grandmas could keep up with the little guys on the PSP...she thought that was "far out!" Linda raised her children to be tough and not to let life hold them down. She showed us all how to keep our chins up. Survivors include, four sisters, Sandy Dovell & Carol Blessum, Mary (Dave) Raphael, Davette (Gordon) Cooley, and Marie (Tommy) Hamilton, one son, Eric (Marlayna) Knouse, two daughters, Nicky Knouse (Michael) Harris, Davette Lyle (Randy) Mock, and seven grandsons.

A Celebration of Life for Linda will take place Sunday, August 5, 2012 at the Marysville Elks Lodge at 3:00 p.m.
